As a small non-profit, we rely on the generosity of our volunteers to achieve our mission of accelerating immigrant integration. Whether you’d like to teach English to newly arrived individuals, help with administrative tasks, or want to walk the streets to reach out to small business owners, WE WANT YOU!
We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and identities, including those of any age, race, religion, gender, ability, or sexual orientation.
Please click on our current volunteer openings below to learn more about each role and to apply.
Education & Training
We offer classes in ESL, Civics, vocational English, and Job Specific Skills Training. We also provide classes in preparation for the Commonwealth Secondary Equivalency Diploma (formerly GED). All classroom instruction is contextualized to include workforce information and job development tools such as soft skills training, resume building, workplace ethics, and job search skills. Any work-authorized participant enrolled in education and training classes can be referred to the employment department for job placement.
Work in small groups or one-on-one to help students learn various computer skills (beginning to advanced).
