What Your Gift Can Do
- $5,000 provides an adult learner with the English language proficiency they need to advance in the workforce.
- $2,500 covers the cost for an immigrant to complete our leadership training program and become an active voice in their community.
- $1,000 helps an immigrant entrepreneur complete our 12-week Business Planning Course and bring a new small business to life.
- $25–$500 pays for classroom materials, books, and other essentials that keep our programs running strong.

Give Through a donor advised fund (DAF)
A Donor-Advised Fund, or DAF, is a charitable investment account that allows you to contribute cash, securities, or other assets and receive an immediate tax deduction. You can then recommend grants to qualified charities over time after the funds have been invested and grown tax-free.
You can support The Welcoming Center, legally known as Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians, through your DAF just like you would with a check or credit card.

neighborhood tax assistance program (NAP)
By partnering with The Welcoming Center through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), your business can receive a 90% tax credit against Pennsylvania state taxes while helping immigrants access life-changing programs, build financial stability, and strengthen Philadelphia neighborhoods. Many companies are not aware this opportunity exists, and we make it simple for you to take advantage.
Eligible taxes: Personal Income Tax including LLCs, Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock-Foreign Franchise Tax, and Bank Shares Tax.
