About Bridges to Work
Many immigrants seeking immediate employment face urgent economic needs and systemic barriers, such as limited English proficiency and unfamiliarity with the U.S. workforce. The Bridges to Work (BTW) Program aims to provide practical, accessible, and responsive support to help place participants in entry-level jobs.
Participants Will Receive:
- Introductions to local employer partners and job fairs
- English language instruction (if needed)
- Job Readiness trainings on Job Search Strategies, Resume-Writing, Interview Practice, U.S. Work Culture, Workers’ Rights, and Understanding Paystubs
- Individualized coaching and job application support
Program Requirements:
- You must live in Philadelphia
- You must have US work authorization
- You speak basic conversational English
- You are looking for immediate full-time employment
