Neighborhood Tax Assistance Program

Do you support immigrants and want to invest in Philadelphia’s future? You can do both while reducing your tax liability!

We are looking for new partners to join our Neighborhood Assistance Program, a program through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Businesses can support immigrants while receiving a 90 percent tax credit on eligible Pennsylvania state taxes.

Many businesses don’t realize how easy it is to participate or the difference they can make. Through the Neighborhood Assistance Program, every dollar your business contributes is matched by a 90% state tax credit, allowing you to give back while significantly reducing your Pennsylvania state tax liability.

The program is flexible and open to any business eligible to operate in Pennsylvania. By partnering with The Welcoming Center, your support directly helps immigrants access life-changing programs, build financial stability, and strengthen Philadelphia neighborhoods.

Eligible Taxes Include:

  • Personal Income Tax including LLC and Sole Proprietorship liability

  • Corporate Net Income Tax

  • Capital Stock-Foreign Franchise Tax

  • Bank Shares Tax

Participation Details:

  • One-year commitment

  • Contributions can be made anytime between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026

  • No minimum contribution required

  • Businesses do not need to be based in Pennsylvania. Any business eligible to operate in the state qualifies

Join the Neighborhood Assistance Program and make a lasting impact on immigrant families in your community. Your support helps families save money, build financial security, and thrive while giving your business a valuable state tax credit.
